Box Name:

Box Name: DANCING Placed by: SAM-SCC

Date hidden: 3/8/02

State: Oklahoma County: Tulsa

Nearest town: Tulsa

Riverside Drive Walking / Biking Path:

Tulsa has a BEAUTIFUL paved walking path along the east side of the Arkansas River. It goes for miles. As a visitor to the city, it made for an enjoyable get-away for a few hours.

Clues:

Begin anywhere on the Riverside walkway south of Glaveston Ave in downtown Tulsa.

Walk NORTH.

Go under Route 244 Northbound overpass.

The box is hidden under the Route 244 Southbound overpass.

Find the NW pylon of the 244 Southbound overpass.

The box is hidden between rocks, marked with a cluster of bricks

Notes:

This box was hidden while the wind was whipping around and made the wind chill something like 11 *. Perhaps we could have found a better place, but we were FREEZING!

I travel for my job. I enjoy hunting for and hiding letterboxes. It is a nice diversion from the daily work, but the level of difficulty will never be high for boxes I hide.
